We’re excited to host our first-ever regional Pitch to the Panel event this December, at the Piccadilly offices of Arrow Global.
This is a light-touch opportunity for up to 5 students per student company to deliver a 3-minute pitch of their main business idea to a panel of investment experts, receiving follow-up questions and suggestions.
The pitch has no mandated structure but can be supported by a short (3-slide) PowerPoint presentation. Student companies may wish to include: the problem they are solving; their company’s value proposition; the ideation process which led them to their final idea; planned marketing and sales strategies; planned manufacturing/operations.
There is no competitive element to this event. Students will receive the valuable experience of presenting; professional feedback on their business idea; and a certificate of participation.
Student companies will be asked to select a 30-minute slot available 3:30-6:30 (so final slot, 6:00). Each slot will hold up to three companies, and these companies shall present in front of each other, along with the panel of Arrow Global volunteers. (The follow-up questions and advice will be from the experts only!)
Groups should arrive at the Arrow Global office 10 minutes before their allocated slot, and the slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis:
- Identify your 5 attending students, and complete the table below
- Complete the booking form here, during which you will be asked to choose a 30-minute slot and upload your student names (simply save this page as a Word Doc and upload)
- Await final emailed confirmation from the YE team
- Prepare your pitch!
